Hello, Welcome to My Site

The 2011-2012 school calendar begins on August 8, 2011. This brings a great new school year filled with many wonderful opportunities.  One opportunity that I have been given this year is to work with your children.  I am looking forward to having an amazing group of students this year. Second, is the opportunity for our class to be a success!  Each and every child must be given the opportunity to be successful in the classroom and in their lives.  We, as teachers and parents, must work together to make this happen. I am looking frward to an exciting and adventurous year of fun-filled learning experiences.  So be sure to visit my webpage often to keep up to date on all the excitement going on in my classroom. 

I have many great activities planned for this year!  Some of the activities include hands-on learning in science and also with a new math program called Math in Focus.  We will be working together to create a family community in our classroom.
